The apartment
is located in a former warehouse. This means the height of the ceiling
is minimal and the apartment is very long. To join the living room in
front of the apartment and bedroom(s) in the back I had to use a long
corridor. In order to make the corridor more attractive, I added glass
bricks around the doorframes, thus illuminating the corridor from the
surrounding rooms. The bathroom has been visually made bigger by adding a large mirror on one side. The lighting comes from fluorescent tubes behind this mirror. The kitchen has been purpose made with beechnut veneer elements and a stainless steel rear covering. |
