A bicycle repair shop was located on the ground floor of this small house in Delft before renovation and a small apartment was located on the first floor. The large wooden entrance doors of the open shop were replaced by a large window. By placing the windowpane as much on the outer edge of the brick wall I have tried to increase the lighting of the studio behind with as much natural daylight as possible. On both sides of the large glass pane, there are two opening frames.
