"Bar Moderne", St-Cannat (FR)
The client owns a bar with open terrace in the center of the village along an important "Route Nationale", the RN7.
To have sufficient ventilation and because local legislations prohibited the use of a fixed roof, I used canvas for the shading, supported by two pillars incorporating the name "Bar Moderne".
Glass rotating panels can be retracted against the existing building during summer, thus giving enough ventilation and deployed in wintertime giving sufficient visibility and comfort.

"Hairdresser's shop", Cannes (FR)
In cooperation with Arnaud Cauwel, Architect in St-Raphaël, we have given the facade of the hairdresser's shop "Michel Didier", near the famous "Rue d'Antibes" in Cannes, a completely different look.
As a start, we removed the existing advertisement elements. Then we added to the facade concrete slats with an irregular ribbed surface to imitate "long hairs".
Finally, we added a sun shade, consisting of curved rotating lamella, thus giving a totally new look to the shop.
